Top Down Games on iOS in Russia: Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the top-down game category on iOS in Russia showed varied performance across the leading apps. According to Sensor Tower data, these games experienced different trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Block Blast！ saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 47K in early July and peaking at approximately 62K by the end of September. Its weekly active users also rose from about 1.9M to over 2.5M during the same period.

Car Jam: Escape Traffic Puzzle had a fluctuating download trend, with a notable peak at 43K in early August. Despite this, its weekly revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $1.3K to $1.5K. Active users saw a decline from 194K in early July to 130K by the end of September.

The Durak Online card game from R-Soft maintained steady weekly downloads, reaching a high of 38K in early September. Revenue showed an upward trend, peaking at approximately $17.7K mid-quarter, while active users increased significantly from 892K to over 1.2M towards the end of September.

Words of Wonders: Crossword experienced declining downloads, starting from 33K and decreasing to 17K by the end of the quarter. Its revenue remained steady, averaging around $1.2K, while active users fluctuated but ended with a slight decrease from 806K to 755K.

Finally, Vita Mahjong showed varied download numbers, peaking at 34K in mid-July. Revenue remained low, averaging under $200 per week, while active users ranged from 170K to 225K, peaking in early September.
